I love that he is in a mixed age group, where everyone has the opportunity to learn from each other. That's what happens when they get to spend time connecting with each other, having Socratic discussions, supporting each other as a tribe, versus focusing on test scores & grade levels. Parent: As a parent of a child at Acton Fishers, I can't say enough positive! My child has made such wonderful friendships and is excited to go to school ! Even though we're on summer break, he can't wait to go back. I just wish there was more lenience with certain things because I would love to make more memories and feel like I am responsible for myself. Overall I believe it’s an educational school, that provides students with a safe environment. I think that there is plenty of fun inside the classroom, but it’s definitely not like the 80s where you can walk around and talk to you friends that you don’t have classes with. Something I wish we were able to do is eat outside, they just got a brand new entrance with lots of tables and we can’t eat there. You can’t get food from the cafeteria without it being lunch time or a study hall, even if you just need a bottle of water. You can’t walk the halls without being sent straight back to your class. The teachers are very kind and teach you very well, however north has always seemed like a place where you can’t have too much fun. Senior: I think North Hunterdon High School is great! I think it offers plenty of APS, sports, clubs, and other extra curriculars.
